About the Client

Samsung Electronics is passionate about Service Care; for its consumers and partners which are very strategic brand attributes that the company projects always. Samsung commissioned Upticomm to activate a three-city (Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja) free service campaign for its consumers serving as a brand experience vehicle for a whole range of stakeholders to experience the Samsung CARE.

The Service Campaign was meant to create awareness for Samsung Smart Care unit, deepen brand visibility, loyalty and equity.

Our Work
  • Upticomm created the campaign theme, Dr. Samsung Free Service Campaign, offering a platform for after-sale service support on all Samsung product ranges.
  • It was a three-pronged approach comprising the build-up, the activation, and the post-activation.
  • The build-up: Upticomm recced the three locations. The Agency secured all the regulatory approvals and designed and printed branding and promotional articles, including stationery, to capture data. Targeted bulk SMS campaigns to 10,000 residents and radio hypes, flyer distribution campaigns daily, regional newspaper advertisements, in addition to press releases and blog mentions.

Total attendance was Port Harcourt: 2,743; Abuja: 3,630; and Lagos: 5,125.
